Yes! The outdoor hot tub is a beautiful way to enjoy the scenery while indulging in a leisurely hot soak. The water is heated via a wood-burning stove, and you will find the tub filled with fresh spring water and the fire laid, ready for you to light (we’ll provide all the wood you’ll need for the hot tub for your stay). It takes around 3hrs for the water to warm up nicely. You will find detailed instructions on how to use the hot tub in the lodge.

It certainly is, every season offers different treasures to discover. Just remember to bring the appropriate clothing for the season, as the old saying goes ‘There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing’. The hot tub really comes into its own in the chillier months.

The local high street is just a 1 mile, (20 minute) walk down the hill (and worth noting, a steep 1 mile walk back up!). The high street is very well equipped with a post office, chemist, two convenience stores, a fish and chip shop ‘Robbie’s Plaice’, an Indian restaurant/ takeaway ‘Easton Spice’ and our favourite, the wonderful ‘Gather Café’. There is also a hairdresser, dentist and vets should you need one. Goodies Deli is highly recommended, as is the laid-back district of Larkhall for quirky, independant shops.

There sure are! Solsbury Hill was once an Iron Age Fort, and is thought to have been one of the locations of King Arthur's battles. Walking straight out onto the hill, the flat top circuit walk gives panoramic views of Bath and the surrounding countryside as far as the White Horse at Westbury and the Marlborough Downs. A variety of walks lead off the hill from all corners down into the surrounding valleys and the village of Northend.
